Lisa reading to the kids on passage from Nevis to St.Barts. We had good weather and a steady wind.   The seas were fairly calm.   We left at 5am and got into Anse Columbier at around 3pm.
Harrison Ford's beach house overlooked our anchorage.   No sign of Harrison (even with the binoculars).
We caught another nice tuna on the way out of Nevis.   He became sushi!   We also caught a 41" barracuda.   We through him back as they can carry ciguaterra toxin.   Besides he had huge teeth and I didn't want to bring him into the boat.
St. Barts kids at sailing school.
There is a nice track from Anse Columbier to Anse Flamande on the west side of St. Barts.
Lisa checks out the shopping in Anse Flamande.
This megayacht anchored beside us in Anse Columbier.   We started talking to the captain and found out he is from North Bay!
The boys in Gustavia - capital city of St. Barts (the only city in St. Barts).
The kids cliff jumping at Seashell Beach.
We really enjoyed St. Barts.   The water is very clear and we had turtles feeding around the boat.   We also saw spotted eagle rays while we snorkelled.   The beaches are not crowded and there are no big hotels or resorts.   No wonder the rich and famous like this place.   Unfortunately it is time to leave.   On February 26th we pulled up the anchor and headed 20 miles to St. Martin.   "The friendly island".
I'm glad we don't need an anchor this size!
