Nevis
We arrived in Nevis after a very rolly 10 hour downwind run.   We had lots of wind and averaged 6 knots.   There was quite a swell from the north which made the anchorage at Pinney Beach quite rolly.   After 2 days we headed off to St. Barts.
We went to the Golden Rock plantation which is now run as a hotel.   It has the most beautiful lush gardens.   The plantation bordrs on the rainforest and we had a great hike looking for the "green monkeys".
Many of the trees were marked so that we could identify the tree and its uses.
Emma and Ben beside an ancient Baobab tree.
Emma leaves her mark on a bamboo trunk.
Lisa and Ben enjoyed a well deserved swim after the hike.
Later in the afternoon the green monkeys appeared!
They like to eat the seed pods on the Flamboyant Tree.
Be careful when looking up at the monkeys!
Next stop - St. Barts.
